Wollongong area metalheads Carbon Black are celebrating their tenth anniversary with a specially re-imagined version of their debut EP.
Principum 2.0 is a re-recorded, remixed and revitalised version of the band’s 2014 collection.
“Songs grow up – like your own children,” declares bass player Rob Giles. “You compare a newborn to a 10-year-old, and they’re very different. And that’s how the songs have grown too. We play them a lot more energetically these days. This time around I think we’ve captured better performances.”
Principum 2.0 will be out on 6 December.
