Electric Mary Calling it Quits

Posted on 10 September 2024

As reported on our sister site Hot Metal, Melbourne rock institution Electric Mary have announced they will play their last in 2025.

Formed in 2003, the band scored a minor hit with their first single and became stalwarts of the local rock scene, eventually issuing four albums and touring worldwide for most of their 22 year career. Their most recent album, Mother, was released in 2019. SInger Rusty Brown noted in a Facebook post that following a final European tour in 2025, the band will play their last in Australia soon after.
